Product overview

Hua Chuang supplies blind flanges for specified piping and equipment connections. For replacement work, identify the mating connection and project specification before ordering rather than relying on a photograph alone.

Purchase specification Provide the standard and edition, DN or NPS, PN or Class, material grade, facing and quantity. For an existing connection, include the drawing and bolt-hole pattern information. State any project requirements for gasket compatibility, finish, inspection or identification; suitability must be checked for the actual service conditions.

Inspection, documents and packing State the required material documents, inspection scope, marking and packing in your RFQ. These items, any proposed alternatives and the delivery schedule should be confirmed in the written quotation and order. Do not assume optional tests or documents are included.

Preparing your enquiry Send an itemized quantity, destination country or port, requested delivery date and the drawing or bill of materials if available. For mixed orders, give each line its own specification so products and quantities remain traceable.

Frequently asked question Does the same nominal size guarantee a matching blind flange? No. Confirm the flange standard, rating, facing and mating dimensions together. Submit drawings for nonstandard connections, and keep proposed alternatives separate from the original requested item.

Specify the mating flange, nominal size, drilling pattern and facing together. A matching nominal size alone does not establish interchangeability between different flange standards. For weld neck flanges, include the pipe bore and wall thickness; for threaded designs, identify the thread standard. Select the gasket and bolting as part of the complete joint.

Technical specifications

Confirm the material grade, dimensions, pressure class and standard together against the approved drawing before ordering. Schedule denotes wall thickness, not a pressure rating.

Send a bill of materials or drawing with item quantities, material grades, dimensions, standard and edition, inspection documents, packing and destination. Identify any requirements that still need technical review.
