Product overview

Hua Chuang supplies threaded flanges for specified piping connections. The thread designation is a separate purchasing detail from the nominal flange size; include the project specification so the flange and mating component can be reviewed together.

Purchase specification Provide the flange standard and edition, DN or NPS, PN or Class, facing and material grade. State the thread standard, size and any project-specific fit or inspection requirement explicitly. Include the mating component drawing and service conditions for technical review; do not substitute another thread designation without written confirmation.

Inspection, documents and packing State the required material documents, inspection scope, marking and packing in your RFQ. These items, any proposed alternatives and the delivery schedule should be confirmed in the written quotation and order. Do not assume optional tests or documents are included.

Preparing your enquiry Send an itemized quantity, destination country or port, requested delivery date and the drawing or bill of materials if available. For mixed orders, give each line its own specification so products and quantities remain traceable.

Frequently asked question Can two threaded flanges with the same nominal size be assumed to fit the same pipe? Confirm the specified thread and the flange connection details rather than relying on nominal size alone. Send original markings and a controlled drawing for replacement orders, and have any proposed alternative reviewed before purchase.

Specify the mating flange, nominal size, drilling pattern and facing together. A matching nominal size alone does not establish interchangeability between different flange standards. For weld neck flanges, include the pipe bore and wall thickness; for threaded designs, identify the thread standard. Select the gasket and bolting as part of the complete joint.

Technical specifications

Confirm the material grade, dimensions, pressure class and standard together against the approved drawing before ordering. Schedule denotes wall thickness, not a pressure rating.
